The Online sign-up period is closed for the 2017 CSA season.
Pro-rated shares are still available, please email us at email@example.com if you wish to join our summer CSa
Join us for 23 weeks of locally grown, certified organic produce!
Dates: The CSA runs weekly for 23 weeks, from early June -mid November
- Full share=$835 (avg. $36/per week), 8-10 items per share. Suitable for a family of four or more.
- Half share= $525 (avg. $23/week), 6-7 items per share. Suitable for a couple, or a single individual. We recommend starting with the half share if you are new to CSA, and are unsure of how much produce you will use. You can always upgrade to a larger size if needed.
U-Pick Crops are included in the price of the share for members picking up at the farm. We offer flowers, herbs, peas, cherry tomatoes, and beans for U-Pick crops when in season.
Pick-up location options:
Thursdays: On-farm pick up in Downingtown (110 Buck Road) from 3-7pm. Pick up is market style, meaning that produce is set out on display, with members choosing items, and packing their own boxes/bags. We do offer some flexibility with choice. For example: a half share member will be able to choose 6-7 items from a display of up to 11-12 items. Full share members choose 8-10 items from the the display. We try our best to accommodate everyone's preferences. We do offer some flexibility with changing some items out for others if quantities allow.
On-farm pick-up offers the most value for your share price. Members that pick up at the farm have a deeper connection to the farm. Whether it's through spending time in the fields picking U-pick crops, or conversing with the farmers in the pick-up area, picking up at the farm can be an enjoyable experience. There is always a farmer in the pick-up area to assist with pick up, and to make sure we are fully stocked. You truly get to know your farmer.
U-Pick hours: When U-Pick crops are in season, members can pick from designated areas on Thursdays from 3:00-dark, and Fridays from 9am-7pm.
Saturdays: Bryn Mawr Farmers Market: Shares can be picked up during the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9-1pm. The market is located at Bryn Mawr Ave and Lancaster Ave. (In the municipal lot between the Luddington Library and the train station). Boxes come pre-packed, but we do offer some flexibility to trade out unwanted items. CSA customers have the benefit of skipping the long lines at market!
CSA customers receive 10% off of additional items purchased at our Bryn Mawr Market farm stand.
