We are sold out for the 2019 Season!

Registration for the 2020 season will open in December

Join us for 23 weeks of locally grown, certified organic produce!

The Details:

Dates:  The CSA runs weekly for 23 weeks, from early June -early November.

Share types/Cost:

  • Full share=$849 (avg. $37/week) 11-12 items per share (plus whatever pick-your-own crops are available). Suitable for a family of four or more that cooks at home at least 4 nights per week.

  • Half share= $619 (avg. $27/week) 7-8 items per share (plus whatever pick-your-own crops are available). Suitable for a couple, or a single individual that cooks a lot, or family that cooks at home at least 3 nights per week. We recommend starting with the half share if you are new to CSA, and are unsure of how much produce you will use. You can always upgrade to a larger size if needed.

To give you an idea of what an “item” is: this could mean one bunch of carrots, 1 lb. of heirloom tomatoes, or 1 qt of potatoes, etc.

U-Pick Crops are included in the price of the share for members picking up at the farm.  We offer beautiful flowers, strawberries, culinary herbs, peas, cherry tomatoes, paste tomatoes, husk cherries, hot peppers and beans when they are in season. U-Pick is very popular with our members. It’s a great way to spend time with family, and is a great opportunity to get children to make the connection to where their food comes from. The flowers field with all it’s butterflies and blooms is a great place to de-stress after work!

Pick-up location options:

Tuesdays and Thursdays: On-farm pick up in Downingtown (110 Buck Road) from 3-7pm.  Pick up is "free choice" market style, meaning that produce is set out on display, with members choosing a set number of items according to their share size.  Free choice CSA allows much more flexibility than pre-packed CSA boxes.  For example:  a half share member will be able to choose 7-8 items from a display that ranges from 14 items at beginning of season, up to 25 items at peak season.  Full share members choose 11-12 items from the the display. We try our best to accommodate everyone's preferences.

If you wish to purchase additional produce, we accept cash, checks and credit cards in the pick-up area. All CSA members receive 10% off.

On-farm pick-up offers the most value for your share price.  Members that pick up at the farm have a deeper connection to the farm.  Whether it's through spending time in the fields picking U-pick crops, or conversing with the farmers in the pick-up area, picking up at the farm can be an enjoyable experience.  There is always a farmer in the pick-up area to assist with pick up, and to make sure we are fully stocked.  You truly get to know your farmers!

U-Pick hours:  When U-Pick crops are in season, members can pick from designated areas on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-dark, and Fridays from 9am-7pm.

Saturdays:  Bryn Mawr Farmers Market:  Shares can be picked up during the Bryn Mawr Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9-1pm.  The market is located at Bryn Mawr Ave and Lancaster Ave. (In the municipal lot between the Luddington Library and the train station).  Boxes come pre-packed, but we do offer some flexibility to trade out unwanted items. CSA customers have the benefit of skipping the long lines at market, and receive one-on-one customer service!

CSA customers receive 10% off of additional items purchased at our Bryn Mawr Market farm stand.
