Summer CSA: Customizable shares for Bryn Mawr Market Pick-up

 
 

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE, PRE-ORDERED WEEKLY MARKET CSA VEGETABLE SHARES FOR BRYM MAWR FARMERS MARKET PICKUP

This is a full service, free choice and custom packed CSA share option delivered to the Bryn Mawr Farmers market every Saturday for 23 weeks, from June-November. CSA members select their produce online each week using credits assigned per item. Fully customized pre-packed shares include an administration and service charge that gets divided over the 23 week CSA season.

CSA members skip the long lines, have a separate pickup area, and receive 10% off additional items purchased at market. Credit items that you select for your weekly CSA share are priced 10-15% below farmers market retail prices. If additional items are ordered in excess of weekly allotted credits, members will automatically be receiving this discounted price.

PICK UP LOCATION/TIME:

Saturday pick-up from 9-1pm at Two Gander’s farm stand at the market.  The market is located at Bryn Mawr Ave and Lancaster Ave. (In the municipal lot between the Luddington Library and the train station).

Share types:

Full shares: 42 credits per week allocated to each week's share for 23 weeks. Avg. 10-11 items per week.

Total cost = $1242. Full shares are suitable for families of 4 or more.

Half shares: 30 credits per week are allocated to each week’s share for 23 weeks.

Total cost = $891.25 Avg. 7-8 items per week. Half shares are suitable for an individual, or couple.

Bryn Mawr CSA members are able to place vacation holds, and reschedule missed shares.

Additional produce can be purchased online in advance, along with weekly CSA ordering.

CSA members receive 10% off all additional produce purchases at the market.

Expected CSA Crops for the 2024 Season:

May-June

Arugula, Spinach, Salad Mix, Beans, Beets, Peas, Kale, Swiss Chard, Carrots, Radishes, Cucumbers, Summer Squash, Broccoli, Kohlrabi, Head Lettuce, Escarole, Pac Choi, Spring onions, Spring garlic, Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage, Culinary herbs.

July-October

Beans, Beets, Broccoli, Carrots, Cucumbers, Pickling Cucumbers, Heirloom and Red Slicing Tomatoes, Tomatillos, Cherry Tomatoes, Eggplant, Bell Peppers, Poblano Peppers, Hot Peppers, Watermelon, Leeks, Fennel, Garlic, Kale, Swiss Chard, Head lettuce, Onions, Summer Squash, Onions, Potatoes, Baby Ginger, Culinary herbs.

October-November

Broccoli, Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage, Carrots, Baby Ginger, Kale, Swiss Chard, Pac Choi, Tatsoi, Kohlrabi, Leeks, Winter Squash (butternut, delicata, acorn and kabocha), Radishes, Spinach, Head lettuce, Salad Mix, Fennel, Turnips, Rutabaga, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Garlic, Onions, Culinary Herbs.
